Inspiration for the Week

I've decided to start a feature on my blog that I will try and update every Sunday of the looks that I loved that past week. It might be from blogs I read, chictopia, street style websites or even flickr. I just want a place to put all the things I love and that inspire me when it comes to my wardrobe. So, welcome to the first installment of Inspiration for the Week.

Some of this week's photos may be older than this week because this is a stockpile of images but I knew at least a few of them are recent.

Tieka's blog is one of the reasons I started blogging myself. This photo is no exception to her wonderful catalogue of outfit photos that she has. I love the simplicity of the white dress just belted then the textured scarf over the top. Definite bit of location envy here too.

This is one of my favourited photos on chictopia. I love the pastel colours of the dress with the matching pink tights. It's always disheartening when you read an item is vintage because you know you'll never own it yourself but I can admire this dress from the interwebs instead.

I've been wanting to try this androgynous trouser look for a while but I haven't been able to find the right pair of trousers. She pulls it off perfectly.

This photo set just screams summer to me. It reminds me of the countryside near where I live and I am desperate for a straw hat for summer.

I adore this girl's blog. Her outfits are always pulled off with such ease and it really makes me wish I lived in America for the great thrift finds she gets. I love this romper and her shoes.

That concludes week one of that new feature. On a personal note, I finish my exams tomorrow and I cannot wait for it to finally be summer. I'm in Leeds for two weeks after my exams without a care in the world. 

I plan to

• catch up on all the magazine reading that I haven't been able to do. And start reading for pleasure again.
• watch all the films that I've been meaning to watch
• spend lots of time out in the sun with my friends enjoying some beverages
• go to slam dunk with the boyf
• go to manchester for a day shopping
• work on my blog!
