It was just too hot to accessorise when I wore this outfit. It has been this past few days really. Oh the woes of summer weather. I would have normally worn this dress without the shirt in this weather but I have sunburnt shoulders and I'm kind of glad because I love the shape this outfit gave me. I wore this when I just lazed around all day because it was too hot to do anything else.
My blogger poses do still revert back to the good old hands on the hips manouever but I can't really complain. My tripod is cooperating and I've taken outfit photos everyday this week so I can have a nice rest this weekend while still having stuff to post. I went to my little brothers birthday party yesterday and I got to see my Dad's next door neighbour who is a great friend of mine. She'd been travelling in India so I hadn't seen her since Christmas. We're planning a more thorough catch up for soon.
I love the detailing on this shirt, it really makes the shirt special for me. I rarely wear it because it's a bit too see through to wear without a vest but I like how it's working for me here. The dress is one of my favourites, a sale bargain and you've been seeing a lot of bare legs recently. I apologise for that. I'm not sure if it's the heat but I've been getting awful headaches everyday this week. It's horrible, I just can't shake them.
I have a slight dilemma that I'd like you to help me with. I've recently discovered that Urban Outfitters USA is shipping to the UK. Bad news for my bank balance! Theres a lot of stuff in their sale that I love that you just can't get hold of over here. I only allowed myself to browse the sale section and not full price. So, I stumbled across these scalloped shorts:
I'm in love with the shape but they don't look like they sit very well, the nicer alternatives are $48 while these are $15 and the UK store doesn't have anything near either of the two.
What should I do?

i've been thinking about those shorts too!!! accdg to reviews, they're not flattering (this $15 one) and they have a really sheer fabric. im afraid of that bit right there.. plus, i would have loved to get it in another color since i just purchased some beige shorts last weekend.
im still contemplating on getting the $48 ones.. but they're so pretty to pass up. they're a 2 in 1 deal for me just because ive been looking not only for scalloped shorts but also floral printed pieces. aaahh!! and the shipping to canada is now only $10 flat! aaahh that's cheapo news for canadians!! im so tempted!!

ahh those shorts! i wanted order them too but they got reallllyyy bad reviews so i decided against it. they have free returns so you could order them and if they are as what the reviews say you can return them :)

The shorts look pretty but a bit...puffy? Like they'll look nice standing still, but a bit awkward when you do anything else. But if, as the comment above says, there are free returns and you really like them, then you should try them :)
