There's a large part of me that loves old Hollywood glamour. I've lusted after fur coats and pearls and silk gloves but I always pull myself back for some reason. This cardigan was my injection of Hollywood into my wardrobe but I've had a lot of trouble styling it. I got sunburnt legs on Thursday so could only wear shorts on Friday. I decided to dress it up with the cardigan but it just didn't quite look right or photograph very well. So, I decided to take the fur off. It buttons on and off and I love the simplicity of what it came out like.
The colour of the cardigan is almost a pastel colour but not quite and it's so soft. Only thing is, it's so fluffy and it all comes off so I actually changed out of this after a while. Full disclosure there for you though. I love these sandals that I got from ASOS. I was lusting for some vintage huaraches for a year but could never find any in my size when these ones popped up and I thought better than nothing. They're a tiny bit too small though and I'm comtemplating returning for a larger size as I've worn them round the house so far.
As you can probably tell, I've dyed my hair again. I wore my fringe in for a few days too. I've been a bit absent from the blog over the weekend as it was my birthday on Saturday. I'm finally 20! But I'll spill all the details about that in tomorrow's post with all the photos. It was a great time though. I wore this outfit on the friday before my birthday for a day of chilling with the boyfriend and watching some more Mad Men. One of my friends went to a Mad Men themed party and I know what I want to do for my next party now.
This was my photographer for the day too. He raided my wardrobe when I was getting ready and decided to work this look for our photoshoot. Strange boy!

Those shoes are gorgeous! And I agree with the taking off of the fur, it seems like a pretty unique piece that I wouldn't know what to style with either!

That outfit is so cute! Love those shoes :)
Looking lovely! I wish it was warm enough here to wear shorts – I had boots, jeans and a scarf on! Ridiculous.
