Are you ready for the fall?

These past few days I've been poring over my recently accquired copy of Elle Collections and I'm really looking forward to next season's clothes. Obviously, I don't have the money for the clothes on the runway but high street always takes a hint from there and it's good to just get some ideas from fashion icons. I'm so pleased with how you can see Mad Men's influence running throughout a lot of collections and the return to ladylike dressing is thrilling to me as I love those looks but struggle to find the pieces to put them together. I have my Mad Men vintage dress waiting for the right occasion in my wardrobe right now!

Anyway, I decided to do some online looking and thought I'd do a post with a few of the collections I liked from what I've seen so far. I've not had a chance to look everything over as I kept getting distracted with holiday planning stuff so bare with me on this one. I know it's months after fashion weeks ended but I've only just got my hands on this lot.

Louis Vuitton

Just as previously mentioned, it's hard to ignore this trend that swept a lot of collections. It's so ladylike, polished and amazing. Love the silhouettes and the structured bag from the first outfit.

Erdem

I would wear every one of these dresses. Beautiful silhouettes filled with lovely feminine prints.

The Row

Another beautiful basic but feminine collection.

Prada

Definitely a Mad Men influence here. Love the dark palette and the chunky knits.

Mulberry

Stunning, love the tulip skirt!

Alice and Olivia

Clothes that look like they'd be really fun to wear and make you feel girly.

Orla Kiely

One of my very favourites, so much vintage inspiration and it's all so precious. need, need, need!

Marc Jacobs
The longer skirt, the classic glamour. Always a big fan of Marc Jacobs.

What were your favourite collections?
Any trends you're hoping for in A/W?

That's all for now as I'm rather sleepy. I'll be back to normal outfit posts this week as I have a little archive mounting that I need to post including the craftacular. Inspiration for the week tomorrow too.
