Show Me The Side Streets Of Your Life

Romper: Topshop
Cardigan: H&M
Belt: Vintage
Brogues: Below 7
Pocketwatch necklace: Spitalfields
Bag: Vintage

Warning: this post will be photo heavy.

This is the outfit I wore when I went on a lovely day out to the seaside of Whitstable in Kent with my boyfriend. It was a belated Christmas present to me and it was such a lovely day for both of us. The weather was perfect, the company was charming and we got to visit the beach. I originally started off in tights but the once we got to the beach I took them off as it had warmed up after a grey start to the day.

The town of Whitstable was so lovely. Lots of cute little boutiques and charity shops and even the cutest bike shop where I fell in love with an electra through the window. I bought a jumper from the charity shop, a badge and some cupcake cases. I was saving my pennies but still managed to get some great bits. It was really windy on the beach so please excuse the badness of the photographs. This house in the background was so cute and exactly where I would like to live when I get older, overlooking the sea.

We took photos in a few different locations but all ended up being windy which is a shame because I loved my hair that day. Total beach hair. I even went for a dip in the water! It was nice and refreshing. The romper was great for the day as it was quite windy and I picked it up in the sale for only £13.50 and it's a good substitute for the elusive littlewhitedress that I've been searching for endlessly.

There were the cutest pastel coloured houses lining the beach and Willis and I walked along just admiring how quaint everything was until we got hungry enough to hit up the fish and chips shop. You always have to have fish and chips at the seaside!

What a picturesque town!! I get envious seeing bloggers with bare legs and sunny clear blue skies! I'm in Australia so it's the middle of winter. Although our winters aren't really as bad as the rest of the world, we still suffer through it heehee. Thanks for the comment :D
