What's In These Stories?

Trousers: Zara
Top: H&M
Vest: Forever 21
Shoes: Miss Selfridges
Hat: New Look
Necklace: Etsy
Bag: ebay

I finally succumbed and bought into the menswear trend. I've been following it for a while and hunting for the perfect pegleg trousers and finally these fell into my hands. I'm in love with the tailored, high waist fit and navy is my colour for winter too! I kept it quite simple with their first wear, a little pirate or french esque depending on how you see it.

I love red and navy together and the pops of brown too. We had to take these photographs with flash on unfortunately because we left it too late after grabbing dinner to take them. These trousers will definitely be popping up a lot this season though so no need to worry about these pants photos.

Refreshers week has been so hectic for me, catching up with friends, going out, settling into the house, recovering from hangovers and getting far too much sleep. Classes start next week and I'm looking forward to it but dreading the workload at the same time. It can be stressful doing a half practical half academic course because you have to juggle essays and films and now a photographic portfolio too.

I'm trying to balance my schedule with school and blogging so that this won't be neglected once classes start but really I won't know how it's gonna go until I get into the full swing of things. Any tips for balancing it all?

Those pants are so great! I've been wanting to get in on the menswear trend as well, but I haven't been able to find a pair of trousers that I like. I also love your red and navy color scheme. So cute! :)

ooh love those trousers, i cant get enough of peg legs at the moment, i think they look stupid on me because i have insanely short legs but i love them so Im wearing them anyway!
The hat looks lovely on you, you really suit hats, especially the cosy woolly type.
As for tips on balancing it all... basically my motto was to pretend i had no work to do, sit around watching this morning and do pointless stuff like count my 1p coins, then start the work at the last minute and nearly kill myself trying to get it done :) woo. seemed to work tho haa. x

I've been struggling too... been back at uni at week and already I'm failing to keep on top of things! Speaking of which, there's a possibility I might be in leeds at the weekend - work permitting, meet up? Tweet me about it if you're free. :) Those trousers are amazing, so versatile. Saw a similar pair in a camelly-colour (don't want to sound like I'm utterly leaping on the colour bandwagon but there you go) jazzy ♥
