Take Note: November UK Blogger Of The Month

For November, I was truly rushed off my feet but at the start of the month I stumbled across a wonderful blog that I knew I wanted to feature here so I dashed off an email asking if she'd like to be my blogger of the month. Luckily enough, she said yes and now I can share with you Cait from she's got a passion for fashion. Her style is so inspirational and I knew as soon as I set eyes on her blog that it would be one of my new favourites.

How did you get involved with blogging?
I started posting outfits on the Flickr group, Wardrobe_remix and from there I found lots of great blogs and finally I started my own.
How would you describe your personal style?
I know instantly if I like something or not and I like what I wear to be defined but that's only because I'm hopeless at casual dressing. I guess Particular, Prim and Proper sums it up.

Do you have any style icons?
I am always drawn to fictional characters, Amy March from Little Women, Jennifer Cavalleri from Love Story and of course Miss Blair Waldorf.
Your handmade clothes are beautiful, how long have you been making clothes?
Thank you very much. I've been trying to make clothes for a very long time but its only since I graduated from studying costume that I've had the time to start making pieces. If all goes to plan, you'll be seeing more of them soon.
What's your favourite book, band and movie?
My favourite book is easy - The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford, I couldn't even begin to explain how much I love it.
I can never choose between Wes Anderson's films so I'll just choose him as a director.
My favourite band is impossible, instead I'll tell you my all time favourite song - Where do you go to my lovely by Peter Sarstedt
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I am desperate to visit Sweden but at this time of year I would settle for the Scottish Highlands.
Where do you get inspiration from for your style?
I'm always inspired by vintage British fashion, from the Suffragettes to the Sloane Rangers and everything else in between.
Do you feel where you live affects your style?
In terms of the weather, yes! It is always windy here so I have come to love hats and I have an ever growing collection of coats.
What's your favourite thing about living in Edinburgh?
I like how open and green it is and that I can walk everywhere. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city with so many wonderful galleries, cute bars and boutiques. I always feel so lucky to live here.
Any tips for aspiring personal style bloggers?
In the beginning it can be disconcerting when you only have a few readers but remember that the number of followers never correlates with your actual number of readers. Add a statistics counter to your blog to see what your readership actually is.

Thank you to Cait for answering my questions. Head over to her blog here!

I already follow Cait and she's one of my favourite bloggers. Her style is amazing anyway, then she goes and makes some amazing (matching!) clothes that just take it to a whole other level. She definitely deserves to be Blogger of the Month.

This girl is definitely one of my favorites. Just discovered her blog a couple weeks ago and fell madly in love.

All those outfits are totally adorable. Wish I had the time to think out my outfit choices because my outfits never look thoughtfully put together like Cait's.
