Reasons I love blogging:
- the way it pushes me to constantly wear different things
- how much it has improved my remixing skills
- the wonderful, supportive community of bloggers
- the photographic diary that I have of the past year and a half
- the place it has given me to talk about all the important things (and sometimes the unimportant) in my life
- the inspiration other bloggers give me in my style
- the look of confusion on peoples faces when I tell them I write a personal style blog
Sometimes you just need to take a step back and reevaluate why you do something. I have been blogging for a year and a half now and as much as it has gotten easier with practice, I hated thinking of blogging as a routine. It left me feeling anxious about getting photographs and being too analytical about my page views and stats. I needed a break to realise that I do really enjoy blogging and I'm not quite ready to give that up yet. It's difficult to put yourself out there on the internet almost daily but the rewards are so worth it. I just needed reminded of that. So I'm back! What did I miss?

And I second all your reasons for blogging! I think sometimes it is hard to blog and it can feel like routine sometimes. I remember last year taking photos in freeeeezing cold Minnesota thinking "is this worth it?" It always is!!

Aw, I'm glad you're back Chloe! It's never good when blogging becomes a chore, so sometimes it's good to think about why you blog and why you want to stick with it. This outfit is lovely! Now I totally want a velvet blouse!

I definitely go through some love-hate moments with blogging. Mostly I hate the way I use it to procrastinate on everything else in life... but I love all the things you mentioned.
