I got my housemate to take my photos for me on Saturday since I didn't dare risk hiking to a location then it starting to rain. We simply stepped outside our front door and started snapping. Neighbours giving us strange looks ensued but in our neighbourhood, everyone has seen a lot weirder.
We were meant to be paying a visit to the International Curry Festival but we got there only to find out that they'd run out of curry. Disaster! We ended up trawling around town to find alternative food then came home in the evening for a curry. We also indulged in some cocktails while in town in my new favourite place in Leeds, Mook. 2-4-1 cocktails pretty much all the time. Can't say no to that can you?
I've had this dress is my wardrobe for ages now and I'll probably donate or sell it soon because I don't wear it enough. I saw a girl on ASOS though that inspired me to put it with a stripy top. The jacket is the one I wear most days to uni and other such events, it was definitely a good investment. I'm currently on the lookout for a coat and after nearly buying one off ASOS, I've decided to head into town for a hunt this week.
Some other exciting news, I got picked to volunteer at my local independent cinema, The Hyde Park Picture House. It's literally around the corner from me and it's such a cool old cinema. I can't wait to get involved and just see what it's all about from the side of working there instead of just being an audience member. Oh and I finished my review so I'm about to email that off too. Did everyone have good weekends?

I love this look, I've actually worn something very similar to it before, it's definitely one of my favorite combos.
That red building is so perfect for pictures! I'm jealous! I love your stripes! I need to layer a tee with a dress...I never have! And I love layers! So, it seems wrong that I haven't :) You look so pretty in these pictures!
