I Was Walking Far From Home

I had an outfit post planned for today but because the snow has prevented my whole family from leaving the house the photos were impossible to get. I'm hoping for better luck tomorrow. But since I'm going to try and post every day for the rest of the month, probably except Christmas day, I thought I'd post something I've been seeing on a lot of blogs recently.
What's in my bag?
Basically I emptied the contents of my bag out onto my bed and took a snap for you.
1. Kafka on The Shore - the book I'm currently reading. I'll always have a book with me when I leave the house in case I get a spare minute while I'm out or I'm on a journey somewhere. I debated getting a kindle for christmas because I swear I'm lopsided from the weight of my bag but couldn't quite let go of my love for paperbacks.
2. Nail varnish - Just the one I'm wearing at the moment.
3. Spare contact lenses - Mine tend to fly out at inconvenient moments so it's handy to have spares.
4. Phone - I'm never without my blackberry, especially at the moment when I'm researching for a documentary proposal I've got to be able to read my emails anytime.
5. Vaseline - battered tin but a handy companion.
6. Film Festival Pass - this is still knocking around in my bag from November for the Leeds International Film Festival. Shows how often I clear out my bag.
7. Train tickets - It feels like lately I'm always on a train. Anywhere is better than my little town.
8. Inhalers - my asthma gets worse in the winter so I carry both with me to help my little shallow lungs.
9. iPod - standard for leaving the house I always have my earphones in.
10. Uniqlo gloves - necessary.
11. Camera - my little point and shoot that I abuse by toting everywhere at the bottom of my bag.
12. Urban Decay lip gloss
13. Keys - complete with my keyring from my old office. 'Your key to bus driving'.
14. Memory stick - To move my photos around to whichever computer in the house has working internet.
15. Purse.

Sorry for the boring post but I should, fingers crossed, get some outfit shots tomorrow. Hope everyone isn't too stressed in the festive final week.
