I got really good at taking blog photos everyday for a while there but then I just kind of lost my groove. I'll get back into the swing of it starting tomorrow. This outfit is from last Wednesday when I had a day of lighting tests for the film and an evening of watching one of my favourite bands at my favourite venue, the Brudenell Social Club. I also purchased my first modern LP for my record collection at the gig.
My little record player has been happy making it's way through a solid collection of 7"s and a few borrowed albums for a friend but it's about time I delve into the world of collecting vinyl. It's just such a financial commitment that I didn't think of when I asked for a record player for my birthday. I want to buy the albums that I'll listen to over and over again so give me your recommendations!

I have the same problem with my record player (I also got it for my birthday). I've managed to steal alot from my family so I have a huge collection of old stuff (which is great for me) but I also want new stuff. Does yours have a usb converter? Mine doesn't and it is such an inconvenience - it means if I buy something on vinyl I'd have to buy again on cd or mp3 to put it on my ipod. Lame! Student life is not conducive to vinyl collecting!
