Inspiration For The Week

I know my posting has been the most ridiculous thing recently and I feel bad for neglecting the blog but a lot of stuff has been going on. I'm trying to just block out the negatives and pour my energies into the things that deserve it but we all know that's easier said than done. I'm going to try my hardest to get some outfit shots but until then, here's my favourite looks from the week.

Also, this week I've been indulging in a lot of music because I've been writing an essay so take my six albums of this week as well.

1. City And Colour - Bring Me Your Love// 2. Willy Mason - If The Ocean Gets Rough// 3. Owen - Owen// 4. The XX - Xx// 5. Belle And Sebastian - The Life Pursuit// 6. Tellison - Contact!Contact!

Inspiration For The Week

Guess where I'm heading?
Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmo, Sweden.
I am headed for Scandinavia.
Anyone who follows me on Twitter has probably seen this already but today I booked an impromptu holiday to somewhere I've always wanted to visit. I've got the flights booked for sure and picked the hotels and just need to get them all booked up. It's so very exciting! I'm going for four nights with my boyfriend and it's all working out really inexpensive, especially for a famously expensive place.

Anyway despite my wanderlust, I still managed to put together my inspiration for the week post.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I'm in love with structured bags, high waist shorts and polka dots right now so this has everything I need. Aren't those wedges killer too?

Such a cute dress AND it's handmade! I'm definitely booking my sewing classes for next semester.

In summer all I find myself wanting to do is wear tights and coats and these hues together are perfection. Love the sparkly shoes too.

Knee highs, more structured bags and the cutest check dress. I love this school girl-esque look.

Mr Newton just always hits the spot. The first girl reminds me of a girl from Uni so badly.

Another Lolita inspired look. Love the print and the knee highs and that lovely collar.

I thought I'd also include some albums that are inspiring me this week/I can't stop listening to.

beirut- elephant gun EP... Washed Out- Life of Leisure... The National- Alligator... The Gaslight Anthem- American Slang... Good Old War- Good Old War... Joanna Newsom- The Milk-Eyed-Mender

What are you listening to recently?
